Indooroopilly Railway Station Upgrade

As a public transport advocate and regular user, Ronan Lee was pleased to deliver the $26 million upgrade of Indooroopilly Railway Station.

Ronan is delighted that Indooroopilly Station uses an environmentally friendly design with solar panels feeding electricity back into the power grid. There are also rainwater storage tanks to provide water for the on-site toilets.  

 

This is a win for our local area but there is still important work to do.  

 

Labor didn’t support a commuter car park for Indooroopilly. This isn’t good enough and Ronan won’t rest until the Labor Government has finished the job.

Indooroopilly needs a commuter car park and there is land available next to the station on Lambert Road to do this. The Liberal Party doesn’t agree - campaigning against a commuter car park and proposing a significant delay to the start of construction on the new station. 

 

Only the Greens are committed to a Park’n’Ride at Indooroopilly and Ronan Lee is determined to deliver this.
